HARVEY CEDARS
NOTICE TO ALL BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids (“Bids”) will be received by the Borough of Harvey Cedars, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey on February 28, 2025 at 10am at the Borough’s Municipal Building, 7606 Long Beach Boulevard, Harvey Cedars, New Jersey, at which time and place all Bids will be opened and read in public. No Bid Proposal submitted after the date and time specified will be opened or considered. Bids are sought from qualified individuals and/or firms capable of providing professional revaluation services to the Borough with the primary goal to prepare and execute a complete program for the revaluation of all properties within the Borough. Work shall be completed in a timely manner in order to be filed for the 2026 Tax List or the 2027 Tax List in the event there are no responsive bidders for the 2026 deadline or in the event State approval of the tax map renders the 2026 deadline impossible. Bidders can bid on 2026 deadline and/or the 2027 deadline. In the event the 2026 deadline is awarded and cannot be accomplished due to delays in conditional tax map approval, the Bidder’s 2026 deadline bid shall control with the exception that the 2027 deadline shall control.
Specifications and Bid forms are on file in the office of the Borough Clerk and may be obtained online by prospective bidders at no cost, during regular business hours (8:30 am to 4:00 p.m.) Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, beginning January 20, 2025.
The deadline for questions, clarifications, and request for information (“RFI”) regarding the Bid Specifications is on February 14, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Questions and RFIs must be in writing. Send all questions and RFIs by email to: clisiewski@harveycedars with a copy to Borough Counsel, Tennant Magee, at tdmagee@tennantmageelaw.com. Responses to all questions, clarifications and RFI will be by addendum, which shall be published in the official newspaper of the Borough and provided to each Bidder who received the bid package no later than seven (7) days, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays excepted, prior to the date for acceptance of Bids. A copy of the addendum will also be posted on the Borough’s website.
All Bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days after the due date for submission of the Bids.
The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the Bids received in accordance with applicable law.
